We're eager to share the newly launched version of ODE*SSA 2.0, SSA's Online Demand Estimator. Responding to customer requests and recommendations, ODE*SSA 2.0 offers greater functionality, simple navigation, explanations and definitions, improved print quality and more!

What is ODE*SSA?

ODE*SSA stands for the "Online Demand Estimator-Self Storage Association". ODE*SSA is an offshoot of both SSA’s best-selling "Self Storage Demand Study - 2005 Edition" and it's new powerful National Facilities Database that lists detailed information on all self storage facilities in the United States (including primary line of business facilities as well as those where it is a secondary line of business). ODE*SSA is a user-friendly Web-based software that enables self storage executives to generate on-demand detailed demographic and market segment reports on self storage facilities in the United States.

ODE*SSA generates a report that consists of two demand estimates: (1) demand within the selected radius and (2) demand only in the selected Zip Codes (and portions). Thus, one can sculpt customized market areas. The report is produced in an Excel spreadsheet with numerous tabbed worksheets. Users will obtain information about nearby self storage facilities, market area population information, business characteristics as well as consumer and commercial segment data.
