A New and Improved CSSM© Program Is Coming in 2027!

The SSA is updating and enhancing the Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM©) Certification Program to ensure it provides relevant, practical education for today’s self storage professionals.

While we work on the new and improved program, new CSSM© certifications are temporarily on hold.

Current CSSM© Designees

The CSSM© designation remains active, and the CSSM© Registry of who currently holds the certification can be found here.

If your CSSM certification is due for renewal in 2026, you will have the opportunity to complete your renewal before the end of the year. SSA will contact eligible CSSM designees directly with information and instructions for completing the renewal process. No action is needed at this time. Please watch for communication from SSA regarding your renewal.

We appreciate your patience as we work to make the CSSM© Certification Program even more valuable to self storage professionals.
