Self Storage Association Membership - What you need to know


Dues are calculated during the join process.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Owner/Operator Member - Is the owner or operator of one or more self storage facilities or facilities under construction (including entities outside the United States) may become an owner/operator member.
Associate Member - Any employee, officer, partner, investor or manager of an SSA member in good standing (this includes Owner/Operator and Vendor members) may apply to become an associate member. This is a non-voting membership class.
Vendor Member - Any person or other entity that is a supplier of goods and/or services utilized within the industry or which is engaged in a business connected with or related to the self storage industry may be a vendor member. Any person or other entity that meets the criteria of an Owner/Operator Member may not exclusively be a Vendor Member (example: management firms are considered an owner/operator member).
Individual Member - Any person or other entity with an interest in the self storage industry, provided they are not eligible for any other type of membership.
Non deductible portion of membership dues: 27%.
