MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Small Owner Member ($285 - Includes first facility. $135 per each additional facility.)

• Any owner-operator with one or more existing self storage facility with total rentable square footage less than 40,000 square feet. 

Regular Owner Member ($560 - Includes first facility, $135 per each additional facility.)

• Any owner-operator with one or more existing self storage facility with total rentable square footage that is greater than 40,000 square feet.

• An individual or entity that does not yet own an existing self storage facility, has a self storage facility under construction, industry emeritus, Is international, is a prospective developer or purchaser of a self storage facility.

Management Firm ($560 - Includes first facility, $135 per each additional facility.)

• A person or entity that manages self storage facilities on behalf of a facility owner for a fee. 

Vendor Member ($850)

• Any person or entity that is a supplier of goods or services within the industry located inside and outside of  the U.S., that is engaged in a business connected with or related to the self storage industry.

• Is an independent contractor that manages self storage facilities on behalf of a facility owner for a fee

Associate Member ($100 per person)

• Any individual who is an employee of a member organization in good standing, that wishes to receive SSA member only communications such as the SSA Magazine, a weekly e-mail, and the Self Storage Legal Review.
