The Nebraska Self Storage Owners Association is a non-profit association committed to strengthening and enhancing the self storage industry in Nebraska.

JOIN THE NSSOA

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Owner/Operator Member ($150)

Includes first facility, $75 for each additional facility

Any person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, real estate investment trust or other entity which is the owner of one or more self storage facilities or facilities under construction, may apply to be a Owner/Operator Member.

Individual Member ($150)

An individual or entity that does not own an existing self storage facility or a facility under construction, but is aprospective developer or purchaser of a self storage facility.

Vendor Member ($300)

Any person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company or other entity which is a supplier of goods or services within the industry or which is engaged in a business connected with or related to the self storage industry, or is an independent contractor that manages self storage facilities, may apply to be a Vendor Member.

The membership is an annual membership beginning January 1st and ending December 31st.

Agreement to use Nebraska Self Storage Owners Association Standardized Lease

I am a member (or my company is a member) in good standing of the Nebraska Self Storage Owners Association (NSSOA).*
After paying for this agreement, I will be given a copy of the standardized self storage rental agreement, boat/RV lease, or both provided by the NSSOA (“Leases”).
I own a self storage facility(s) located in the State of Nebraska and intend to use said Lease(s) at the facility(s).
I agree and understand that the Lease(s) is being provided as a recommendation only and that I alone or with the advice of an attorney am responsible for determining whether the document is appropriate for my use. NSSOA provides no guarantees or representations of any nature or kind with respect to the use of the Lease(s). My company and/or I agree to release and hold the NSSOA (including its officers, directors, agents and attorneys) harmless from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, or actions arising from the use of the Lease(s).
I agree not to distribute, sell or reproduce the Lease(s) to or for any person or entity not entitled to use the Lease(s). The Lease(s) is only for use at Nebraska properties owned or operated by the member.

*Active NSSOA Membership required to use the lease.

The NSSOA thanks you for supporting our industry. However, the NSSOA is a not-for-profit trade association and does not mediate or resolve disputes between self storage operators and tenants. For issues with your facility or unit, please review your rental agreement and contact the individual named there. Alternatively, call, email, or visit the facility in person to address and resolve the concern. NSSOA does not have the power, authority, or ability to remedy any disputes between an operator and a tenant.
